The Concept
JF.sun is the first pilot week by JF Studio - a creative sailing retreat for women who want to reconnect with their body, creativity and natural rhythm.
This is not a strict program. It is not a performance retreat. It is a week of boatlife, sea, sun, shared food, creative rituals, honest conversations and small moments that open something inside you again.

Morning Pages
What one week of Morning Pages can do?
One week. Seven mornings. Three pages a day.
Morning Pages are a daily writing ritual designed to clear mental noise, reconnect you with your inner voice and create space for clarity, creativity and emotional honesty.
On this retreat, they are not just “journaling”.
They are your daily anchor.
A moment before the day begins.
A moment to empty your mind.
A moment to feel what is actually there.
A moment to come back to yourself.
By the end of the week, you may not have all the answers — but you may hear yourself more clearly.
And that is often where real change begins.

Creativity on board
During the week, there will be space to create without needing to be “good” at anything.
We will bring materials for small creative sessions like watercolor painting, shell jewelry, keychains, lighter decorating and possibly abstract painting.
The idea is not to produce perfect art. The idea is to play, use your hands, follow curiosity and reconnect with the part of you that creates just because it feels good.

Boatlife
This week is built around real boatlife.
We sleep on the boat, cook together, swim from the deck, move with the weather and follow the rhythm of the sea. The exact route will depend on wind, weather and what feels right for the group.
Expect salty hair, shared cabins (2 persons per cabin with own bathrooms) , simple living, beautiful places, spontaneous swims and a little bit of chaos in the best way.

Food
Groceries for breakfast, lunch and dinner on board are included.
This is a shared cooking experience, which means we will prepare meals together on the boat. There is no private chef and no fully serviced kitchen setup — it is part of the boatlife experience.
One dinner in a beautiful restaurant is planned and not included in the retreat price unless stated otherwise.

Good to know
This is the first JF.sun pilot week.
The retreat takes place on a sailing boat, which means shared cabins, limited space and a simple boatlife rhythm.
You do not need sailing experience.
You do not need to be creative or “good” at art.
You only need openness, respect for the group and the willingness to live closely with others for one week.
The exact route will depend on weather, wind and skipper decisions.
A detailed packing list and all final information will be shared after your spot is confirmed.
Boat and Skipper
Henk grew up on sailing boats from an early age — the sea is his second home. With over 10+ years at sea and thousands of nautical miles logged across the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean, he brings not just technical expertise, but a genuine passion for sailing.
As your skipper aboard the Lagoon 46, what matters most to him is that you feel completely at ease. He takes time for every guest, happily explain the maneuvers, and show you the most beautiful hidden spots — well off the beaten track.
